In an effort to further promote the integration of industry, academia, and research within the field of language services, faculty members from our college recently attended the kick-off meeting for the National Language Service Export Base Industry-Education-Research Project. This project, with a specific focus on translation services, aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of language service exports, foster international communication, and support the global competitiveness of domestic industries.
During the meeting, participants discussed key objectives, including the development of standardized translation protocols, the implementation of advanced technological tools such as AI-assisted translation platforms, and the cultivation of highly skilled professionals in the translation sector. Our college's representatives contributed insights from both academic research and practical experience, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts between educational institutions and industry stakeholders.
This initiative not only aligns with national strategies to boost service trade but also provides valuable opportunities for our faculty to engage in cutting-edge projects, ultimately enriching our curriculum and research endeavors. The active involvement of our college underscores our commitment to advancing language education and supporting the growth of the translation services industry on a global scale.
